Verniq UAVs introduces Recon TR-01, an FPV-class quadcopter for pilot training, operational familiarization and tactical skill development. Developed by Verniq UAVs Private Limited in Ahmedabad, India, the platform pairs a portable aircraft with the training simulator demonstrated in our launch film.

Compact hardware for repeated training sorties

The brochure lists 900 g maximum takeoff weight, 23-minute endurance, 14 m/s maximum speed and 10 m/s wind tolerance. Recon TR-01 supports GPS-assisted manual and autonomous flight, with Emergency Return-to-Launch (RTL) as its published failsafe.

A tool-free swappable battery, barrel-jack charging and a small transportable frame support setup and turnaround between flights. The brochure lists an 80% indigenous bill of materials. The published communication range is 200 m–10 km, subject to terms; ask us to confirm the link configuration and operating conditions for your training programme.

The launch film also demonstrates STRATAGEM, Verniq's ground-control software, for waypoint planning, Return-to-Launch and failsafe missions.

What does the Verniq training app include?

The simulator shown in the launch film brings a structured practice loop to pilot training:

  • Physics-based rotor, wind and battery simulation.
  • Loiter, AltHold, Stabilize and Acro flight modes.
  • A 22-level curriculum, progressing from arming and stick control to autonomous missions.
  • Waypoint routes with live objectives, timing and scoring.
  • Scores, coach notes, flight replay and a stick-input timeline after lessons.
  • Custom 3D training environments built to customer requirements.
  • Chase, FPV and pilot camera views.
  • Keyboard, gamepad or compatible RC-transmitter input over USB.

Practise a lesson, review the feedback, then repeat it before moving to supervised field training. Request a simulator demonstration to discuss controller compatibility and your training environment.

Explore the aircraft and training package

Read the Recon TR-01 product brochure (PDF, 12 MB) and published aircraft specifications. Endurance and communication range depend on configuration and operating conditions; request the details for your intended use.

For universities building autonomy experiments, Verniq Edu-Stack remains a separate research platform. For pilot-training packages, aircraft quantities or a simulator demonstration, send your training requirements.
